taking your brain for a walk

Today we took our brains for a long walk, well drive, and then walk, but it has been a long time since we drove to just see where we would end up and what we would see.
The North Carolina Botanical Garden in Chapel Hill

Fabulous works. And, there are more.
My brain thanks me.

You were minutes from my house and Gerry was off today, we could have bought you a beer!
The botanical garden is a nice place for brain rest though, and what a day it was here in blue sky country!

It's been a few years since I've been to the NCBG. Lovely art and plants, and such a perfect day. Now I want to go...

I think my brain went for a walk years ago. Actually it ran away from home and never came back ! Glad you got a day off.

Good choice...and I bet you can create like crazy now that you've had that day "off"!!!

It looks like a beautiful place for the brain, the eyes, and the soul.

Beautiful! I love that first sculpture of the woman...so willowy. I'd love to have one in my garden too! Maybe there is a potter out there who wants to start making garden art! :)
