6 months- 6 months and we are moving in

Just a reminder of what we looked like on July 9th the day after the fire

  1. I wasn't blogging six months ago so didn't see these photos before - wow! You should be so proud of yourselves for what you have accomplished in six months -- congrats on all the hard work.

    What caused the fire? I think it's always in the back of every potter's mind - a studio fire. . .

  6. Hi- just to fill you in- it was started by a big bolt of lighting out of the blue- hit a tree, followed a copper pipe to the building, into the wall and then into the electric. We were home or we would have lost all of it.
    Not a kiln or the wax pan-

Thanks for the link - it just proves insurance is so important - cause even when you do everything right (no wax left burning - no kilns left unattended -etc) literally - a bolt from the sky comes out of no where. You guys were fortunate to be home & -- aren't you happy you'll be back in your studio soon!
    What a lot of work --- kudos!
