Good luck on your year of no-shows! :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02260202587100604329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6574046592294768817.post-23044311621534117372011-02-22T08:52:16.644-05:002011-02-22T08:52:16.644-05:00I think you can do just as well between home and o...I think you can do just as well between home and online sales. Over the past year our online sales have become fully 1/2 of our income. We've made the decision to drop many of our less profitable shows and only attend the ones we either love, or do really well at. It's really nice to get up pack orders, mail, then head to the studio to make more. Next year I hope to drop even more events and increase online and wholesale opportunities.

-Charles
www.hughespottery.etsy.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09173814009646107190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6574046592294768817.post-85931750565620938532011-02-22T08:30:11.517-05:002011-02-22T08:30:11.517-05:00Shows are exhausting; I understand your decision, ...Shows are exhausting; I understand your decision, it's nice to purchase pottery where it's sold. I've been rethinking two day shows as I am not sure I could last even a whole day, farmer's market hours would be better I think, I wish. So I'm looking into other avenues for sales.Linda Starrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04364078667554676592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6574046592294768817.post-47003510485655529052011-02-22T08:18:04.486-05:002011-02-22T08:18:04.486-05:00Someday. Best of all the worlds.
I've just been invited to join a show in Washington state. I'm thinking about not doing it -- I too want to focus on being here -- so it's good to see someone else making that same decision -- best of luck & sales.Judy Shrevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13817638135856406785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6574046592294768817.post-61274683283347652482011-02-22T07:00:21.766-05:002011-02-22T07:00:21.766-05:00its good to have a home that you can sell fromits good to have a home that you can sell fromgzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08034777779347889773noreply@blogger.com
