Ahhhh, the Uwharries! Gerry's parents used to have a house on Lake Tillary and we spent a lot of time hiking and having picnics at Morrow Mt. Did you ever get any figs from the little cabin at Morrow Mt? We used to paddle our canoe up there quite a bit also. Looks like a lovely day. We actually came through there today on the way home. Gerry's dad was preaching nearby and the whole family showed up at church for a visit.
Hi T- we did not take the canoe along this time. It is in need of some repairs. Falls Lake has a great little island on it. A few years back we went with 5 couples and hung out on the island- great fun. Today was a let's see where this road takes us. Relaxing.... it is nice over there. But- I do wish folks would take their trash out with them!
