The day after the Fire the women Potters in charge of the Potter's Relief Fund were here with a check for us. This fund is possible because of the generosity of the Seagrove potters. The potters donate pots to be sold at two locations in Seagrove and have a booth set up at the "Celebration of Seagrove Potters". http://www.celebrationofseagrovepotters.com When the pots are sold 100% goes into a fund to help a potter in need.
As any artist knows- life can be uncertain if you are not working- this allowed Mark and I to breath and not worry about the time it would take us to get back on our feet.
I want to thank Pam Owens, Bonnie Burns and Sherry Caldwell-Hohl for creating and keeping this up. And to the Segrove potters- a heartfelt thank you.
