It is all a mystery to me

You can't figure it out if you don't jump in and do it.

The small kiln is still having it's moments when firing, but if we are going to figure out the best use for this kiln we just have to do it.
I have to give credit to Mark for the firing and admit that I am still not firing this kiln.
Instead I cleaned areas of the house that have not seen a broom or water for too long.
I think I am nesting in the way that one does when one has had many other things going on. I need some time with my space and some time to just be here and work. Soon we hope, very soon. Meanwhile a before picture.

You will have to come back to see the after- cooling right now.
Tea time and thought about planning another small load.
 Jump into the fire!

I love the looks of a carefully packed kiln! How it echos the arch in the ceiling.....Can't wait to see the after pics!

Whoa!!! Look at that big ass jar in there! I go through those nesting spells too, my last big one was right after Wesley left for school, I had to keep my mind busy :)
It's good medicine to clear our spaces every now and then!! Good luck with the firing...

I'm excited to see how it all looks when it's unloaded. I'm doing some nesting myself today. Now I feel like I'm in good company.

That is about the neatest, cleanest kiln I've ever seen. As to your headline, yes, that applies to almost everything in my life.
