Spring flowers

After two firings we are doing all those other things that need to be done before our Kiln Opening this week-end.
We are watching the weather, making cookie dough, cleaning up, mowing, watching the weather, pricing and moving pots, and yes, watching the weather.
One weather station says rain, another chance of rain and yet another is putting those little lightening bolts beside the chance of rain.
Nothing to do but continue to watch the weather.
A lot can happen from Tuesday to Saturday.
I have also been watching one of my favorite flowers open up.
This clematis is really putting on a show today with all her big White blooms.
I thought I might share her with you, like you could stop me...

I bought her a friend a few years back in case she needed some company.
I am not sure she really does since she has always been very happy just hanging out.
I went purple this go round and I must admit I like the white and purple together.
You will just have to let me know how this post shows up.
My computer has stopped talking to the Internet and that has put me on the net book.
My computer has some real age on her.
I bet in dog years she is at least 100 years old.
She also might have heard that our son is bringing me a new desktop and she is not happy about that.
I keep trying to remember how long I have had this computer and I can not.
I can tell you it has a 3.5 drive on it...well at least is is not one of those big floppy drives!
She is holding a lot of data and this might be good that she is not out on the web any more.
I was thinking about taking her off anyway, do you think she is a mind reader?
I keep saying her but just might have to call her Hal.
Hal? Hal is that you?

Back to that cookie dough!

My Mom had a white clematis climbing the side of her porch. She just loved it. Everything on the blog looks fine here.

I love the flowers, we're hoping for any rain down here, dry as a bone, I have Hal's sister down here I think.

Hi Meredith, that was my computer assuring you that your post does show up, and it is sending sympathy to your elderly desktop.

Love the clematis, what a joy such flowers can be, so delicate and strong all at the same time.

Mmm cookie dough, I'm not sure that spring is quite here yet! It's still cold out maybe we'll have a few pretty flowers in the next few weeks too!
