A new adventure for Mark and me.
As of the middle of the month we have become members of The Co-Op of Seagrove Potters
which is located in the "down town" area of Seagorve.
The Co-op is housed in what was the original bank of Seagrove.
I love the old safe and found it a pretty good place to sit the other day.
Here is a quick photo of the inside of the building.
A view out the window facing the Seagrove Hardware.
This does not change our hours at Whynot you will still find us hard at work and open to your visits with us here.
Plan to stop in this summer!
Meanwhile- the big vases are out of the bisque tomorrow.
More glazing with loading on Saturday and firing Sunday- give or take a day.
Let's us hope this firing comes off as a good one.
Cheers!
M

The co op sure does have some purdy pots there! I just love that little town....
I enjoy being part of the co-op of seagrove potters, gets me out of the studio a few days a month and i get to put on good clothes for a day. I think you guys will be happy that you joined as well... plus we often have good food and drink at our monthly meetings!
Good to learn about the co-op. Hope to check it out next time I'm closer. Best of luck with the big pieces and firing. Am doing my first kiln firing here- test one. It's gonna be a late night!
I didn't know that was a bank, those old buildings with history are so cool, hey and the drive to the coop is just a short jaunt too.
OH so pretty! The building, the pots!
yeh baby ... congrats on the extra location!!
I'm in a collective here in Atlanta, I love it because I get to meet the customers and other artists. They are really supportive too, which helps.
Enjoy the co-op and the new friends you'll make there.
Congratulations on joining the group. The gallery looks lovely, and it's one more way of getting your pots out in front of buyers.
Thanks for the encouragement. It has been an interested 2 days being here instead of the pottery.
I think we can work this out and that it will bring more folks our way.
