Snow Day

Excuse me while I stay inside to take pictures out the kitchen window through the screen side of the window. We had a dusting of snow, just enough in my book. I know that the mother load has been dumped north and south of us. For those of you blanketed in white be safe; I hope your electricity and heat hangs in there.
I am gathering my thoughts for another year in clay.
I received an order for 20 tiles that are top on my list.
For me tiles are a great foot into the New Year.
I just need to get out there and get them started.
I am already working on the books for last year, they have to be done no matter the climate of the year past and the year to come.

I also have a few custom tiles that need to be made as well.
What do you have going on for the new year, what's new and different?

Love the wall display of your tiles. I dare say you've told us before, but what's your hanging technique?
My new year in clay will start with a couple of orders too...which feels nice, and I always use wintertime to build sculptures...already started on that. The snow here isn't sticking, probably because of all the wind, so far. Our last snow has all melted somehow, but it's chilly. Yes, everything you said wishing others safe, warm and steady elec!

I'm working on prints for now, looking forward to getting the kiln shed built.

That's a wonderful start to the year, having some good tile orders. I suppose I have to start on my personal 2017 books. Maybe if I mix it up with some fun stuff in between...

Hi Barbara, I need to repost how I hang them, but they are backed with wood and hang much like a picture would.
Let's blow this cold- It is too cold this year!
