Clay with kids

We had a weekend with our grandkids and what else do you do but make some pottery.
Mark started them out on stamping and cutting. I moved them over to the wheel where we took some of the circles and turned them into plates for their dolls. The waiting is the hardest part for them.
These should be ready to glaze on the next long weekend.
It also gave me some thoughts about teaching my beginners at the school.
I'll just have to see how I can carry this over.

These 2 were in high production mode.
Cheers!
M

Laurie, we might have to have a clay day with your grand.

Awesome way to spend time with kids and share knowledge and engage them in very positive activity in this digital world.
