Today Joe and crew packed up all the tools in the trailer, threw all the trash they could in the dump truck. Finished the soffit under the roof. Finished joining the roofs together and said." I'll get a bill to you."
Phase one is really done.
We still have to paint, the electricians come next week- gutters and other odd and assorted things have to be done before we can move in.
It is also our busy time- so we have to continue working as we are and it might realistically be January before we move in.
Sigh----I feel as if I have the best Christmas present sitting right in front of me and I can't play with it.
Sorry- I am just a bit edgy.
And some guy calls every night for John McCain. I am calling on behalf of John Mc........ Click so a if anyone talks to him tell him some guy keeps calling for him at my house.

Congratulations on getting this far. What a lot of hard work. My guess is that you will have a really nice space to work in once you are finished though. It will be worth the wait.
You know what I might suggest for the next time the McCain guy calls? If you have the time, talk to him. Listen to what he says, and then try and convince him of why you think he is wrong. Probably won't change anything this time, but you might plant a little seed.
The space will be nice. Mark made me leave the building tonight when I wanted to start cleaning windows and mixing paint. Oh to be 40 again!
The guy calling is just a recording..... not even a real person, but you would think they would have a real person if they wanted to really talk about the issues.
