The Potters Relief Fund

On another note:
Anyone interested in donating to the Potters Relief Fund for a Seagrove Potter in need can send checks to:
The Potters Relief Fund
C/O Caldwell-Hohl ArtWorks
155 Cabin Trail
Seagrove NC 27341

If you would like your donation to go towards helping Chris Luther note so on the check.

For the Potters out there who live in an area where you could group together to do the same thing- I suggest you do.
It has been amazing to see the help given to our fellow potters.
Mark and I were helped by this group last July when we were hit by a fire in our studio.
For an artist who makes their living through their work it can be very difficult to live through the fire and loss of studio time.
A check from your peer group can go a long way to helping you recover.
Also- not to preach- but please get insurance, if you don't have it.
And- check your policy to make sure you cover your building and the contents as well.

So sorry about the fire at Chris and Lisa's pottery, thanks for the heads up about insurance and relief funds.

Hi- I took dinner down there today and Chris is already set up to work at Ben Owen pottery. The community here is great about helping.
