Are we there yet?

Well- I know this blog should be about pottery- but we are so much more then what we do.

We just spent Christmas with family and life is really about those people is it not?

Pottery will be back in our lives soon enough.

I have to share with you the recent daily ritual in my mother's house.

While she was in the hospital the cat would look all over the house for her.

If I was sitting in Mother's chair or on her computer the cat would come up and just look at me.

Oh, you know the look- if you have ever had an animal you know this look!

Anyway- as my mother comes down the stairs in the morning or goes down the hall to go up at night Penny, her cat, now jumps on board and rides down the hall with mother.

It is just too cute not to share.

Mother coming down the hall, pushing her walker, with Penny on board.....

PS_ go look at Joel's Bread

I love that! Our animals are so important in our lives - I'm sure your mom was just as thrilled to see her cat as the cat was to see her.
Great photos! Glad your mom is doing well!

We are so much more than just pottery! It's so much more interesting with a sprinkling of real life thrown in.

What an ingenious cat!! I know that look well too... ;)

I love this! My grandmother had a cat she was very attached to that went everywhere with her. When the cat died we got my grandmother a stuffed cat that looked just like it. She fed it Reese's peanut butter cups (she was a bit senile) and we had to sneak it away from her from time to time to wash the chocolate off! Glad your mom is doing well.

Yes, she is MUCH better after her "tune up" in the hospital.
Love the story of the stuffed cat and love the fact that your family loved her enough to get her the stuffed cat! That is love!
