ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGG! Taxes--------

taxes are frustrating as it is- but this year I have to sort out what was paid for by insurance and what was pay for out of pocket- I am fair when it comes to keeping the books- but this year I floated through.

So this is what I would like my office to look like:

instead of the many piles all over the place

- I just have to get this done!

Oh, I'm with you sister. I need to get the home portion of the taxes done and soon. Now, where did I put that stack of receipts????

Oh boy, we had some people come to look at our house and I put everything in paper bags in the closet and now I have re-sort it all. Here take this ceramic bead as payment for my taxes and give me your ceramic bead in return for goods you desire. No paper, no muss, no fuss - thank you. My word verification is - recet - he he.

Your posting on taxes reminded me that I needed to do mine, too...yuck. I started them tonight, and I'm so proud I only had a breakdown and a big crying fit once. I never have all of my information in one place, either. At least your piles of paper are surrounded by your lovely pottery. :)

Gosh, for some reason I have a hard time envisioning you in that upper most office picture :-)

oh- but Tom in my mind I am very neat and organized- it is my pipe dream.
the bottom office is me because life is messy- is it not?
Linda- I would love to send the IRS some pots for the taxes! In fact when we first moved here you could pay your electric bill with things other then money. I always wanted to go in and pay with a pig.
Henhouse- one or two fits is good when doing book work! Clears the head.

a lot of nice pots in that office! I did the taxes once, and the IRS wrote back saying that I did NOT have 3 kids. Really! I know I don't, but gawd, all those lines and numbers, you get lost...

I feel your pain. I am trying to get mine finished today. It is so hard to stay focused.

I love the picture you posted; beautiful office. One has to be DEDICATED to filing and boxing old documents though!

Hi Samantha- it is hard to stay at the bookwork-
Okay Ajay you know how dedicated I am to paper work, but don't you love that office- You are much better at filing then I am!
And about those boxes.......

I'm here to help! Just box up all of those pots and ship them to me; I'll put them on shelves in my house, and you can have lots of shelf space to organize paperwork!

Jay- I have been to your house and see you collection- your wife would not let these pots in the door!
