It is 74 here today.
Spring is here and tomorrow is the first day of spring.
And- it is Mark's birthday!
So a shout out to Mark- Happy Birthday!
(sorry there is no pie-maybe next week....)
I have been after my sister, Lee, the one I am doing the tile mural with, to start making some tiles of her own.
The Sunday after we unloaded the kiln she came out with some patterns from her 28 days of giraffes.
She drew a giraffe a day and sent them off the the website for one million giraffes.com
So go over and check out the tiles!
I can't wait to see them finished up.
So Happy Spring.
We have some family coming to help Mark adjust to another birthday.

Happy Birthday to Mark! I hope it was a lovely day!
Happy Birthday Mark, hope you have a wonderful one - I love pie much better than cake.
First day of Spring I didn't even know that.
Meredith, I have a tile project waiting in the wings so I may be asking some advice as soon as I get settled.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARK!!
Gerry's mom has a birthday today, we were going to go visit but Wes is having a cold that everyone at school shared with her, and grandmother is very fragile, so I'm firing a kiln instead. YAY for Spring!!
Give that boy some pie :)
Happy Spring and Happy Birthday!!
I checked out the "one million giraffes" website. How interesting! Your sister-project sounds like a lot of fun.
NO PIE?!?!?!? What are you thinking????
Well, a happy birthday to Mark, anyway.
a BIRTHDAY???? HOORAY!
salad..... I get salad and brownies....hmmmm salad is good. I have to admit here that what I was looking for was a shoofly pie and I seem to be the only one who will eat it around here. SO , since i really can't afford to eat the WHOLE PIE, sharing salad and brownies is more than OK. I held out for and got a promise for enchiladas next week.
Thanks for the good wishes all. I think I've outlived myself by thirty years
Happy Birthday AGAIN,Mark. You certainly DESERVE a pie. Hope we didn't distract your lovely bride from baking it for you. Lee's tiles look way cool.
