A long Monday..

Boy things are hectic around here!
You can tell that we are covered up in the studio trying to finish up the glaze and put it all in the kiln.
Delay has become my middle name!
But maybe that is better than being dead in the water!

Today was finish up the glazing and hopefully tomorrow is loading day.
This pottery stuff is hard work!

I have the blog entries pretty much put together.
It has turned out real well as you leaf through the pages and look at the different entries each potters chose to have put in the book.
I think there are a few more I have not received.
I'll just have to see if I can pry those out of the last of the potters.

Also with folks coming in I just might have to break with tradition and dust the house!
I am busy chasing out the spiders, but I can tell you that is an all day job.
Tonight as we came in from work in there was one as big as Texas- I kid you not- in the front room.
She and I came to a quick understanding of whose house it was.
I think I won on that account.
No pictures- it was not a pleasant end.

I am off to just relax after a long day.
Cheers!
M

The spiders sure have been friendly this year! Busy here emptying out the camper. Purging lots of things, so we can clean it up and sell it! Thanks for a lovely evening!

Oh, those spiders have NO IDEA what they're in for.

We have had no spiders, but the roaches are driving me mad! Last year it was the biggest spiders I have ever seen this year, it's roaches. So nasty!! Why would you dust for potters, girl? We live for dust :)
O love your place just the way it is, spiders and all.

It's going to be a busy couple of weeks, isn't it? Hope you can relax at the various celebrations. You deserve it. See you soon.

Meredith you have worked tirelessly on this Blog show -- in spite of back issues, new babies being born & your own work to keep up with.
Here's a GIANT hug -- since I won't be able to give you one in person :>((
Thanks!!

That poor little spider didn't stand a chance. I always feel sad when I'm forced to kill a spider, since we try to live peacefully with them. Some of them just don't understand that they can't run the house.

I found a lovely BIG girl in my garden this past week...made me think of you. she was glorious, and I knew you'd appreciate her. I actually didn't pick the tomatoes that were near her, for fear I'd damage her web.

I took pictures to share.
