I am still working on hangers for tiles- clay work delay. Mark has been busy filling his cart with new work. I will have to slide over to get some pictures from his side of the room. The weather this week end holds promise of real fall. I found it hard to believe this is almost October with our too warm days. It will be an a/c to heat week. Cheers, M

Walking the Walk
While walking the cliff walk in Newport we came across this group of trees.
I was fascinated by the possibilities of how this group formed.
It appears that one of the trees was damaged, who knows how, but had somehow rooted to grow in another spot.
It makes me think about all those times when things happen in our lives and we have to find a new path to follow.

That tree looks like a metaphor for the two of you this past year, and yet it's still strong as ever!! Just like you and Mark :)
Great trees. My next set of tiles are taking forever to dry. We're hoping for some fall weather here, it's been a long hot one.
Great photos - sheer determination can get you far some days.
We've been really warm here in Atlanta with no rain. Next week looks cooler - finally!
ac to heat week, haha! :)
Yes! So nice to see that an old friend is still there.
It's hard to believe we are edging into October. I'm hoping for a long mellow fall. Most of the flowers have come back after the 'hurricane' (more accurately, tropical storm) and rain. This is one of the best seasons in New England.
Yep, had the A/C on today, & expect the woodstove will be burning 2 nights from now, with 39 degrees in the forecast. I'm ready for fall weather!
life just keeps finding its way
