Slow Sunday and some good reading

Hello!
We have been enjoying some drop in company the past few days and I can't seem to get my camera past the front door.
I think when I did not have the camera for awhile was not in my thoughts daily and now that it is back I forget about it.
"forgetaboutit..." say this in you best accent and it means so many different things.
I plan to bring it back into my daily routine soon since I like being able to look back at a month and see what we were doing then.
Yesterday we receive a nice email from Richard Jacobs, a pottery collector and author of the book, Searching for Beauty. Richard and his wife, Judy are from California . They had taken a trip to the East Coast with a side trip to North Carolina last fall.
I had meet them before but this time when they stopped in Mark was in the shop and he was able to have the time and pleasure of their company. They had a nice chat with Mark and bought a jar.

Richard has written a 3 part blog entry about their visit that you might enjoy reading.
You can back up from part 3 to get all the parts.
I hope you will enjoy a read on this overcast, Super Bowl Sunday.
I am planning to back up and read this all myself.

Mark has set up a TV for viewing the game, this was fun  since we sometimes don't get reception for certain channels. But, by holding the antenna almost sideways, standing on one leg and rubbing his stomach with one hand, while.... not really but we do have a kitchen stool with a smaller stool on top of that and reception- so nobody move or breath!
We are set!
Enjoy your slow Sunday and I hope your team wins!
( you can tell I pick my teams by the uniforms, oh, pretty....)
Cheers!
M

We have the same TV reception here.Cable is available but too expensive for what I would gain from it.

Thanks Tracey!
Yes- we had satellite but it was too much for what you get. streaming is the way to go.

Go Patriots! all my NE friends are excited about the game. No TV reception here but we wouldn't be watching anyway... I only to go to Super Bowl parties to eat and drink ;-)
now I am going to check out that article.

I must admit I'm not really big into sports, I find it a little dull! TV reception in my area has always been really bad - I feel your pain!
