Oh those kids

When we were looking for pictures to use for our 30th year Celebration for the pottery business I was going to use these 2 pictures.
But, I could not find them.
Today I find them right where I left them in my desk drawer shoved safely under some piles and enclosed in a Christmas card.
Well, of course that is right where they should be....

The top one was taken by some dear customers that we have not seen in a long time, as was the bottom one.

Top one- us in 1995
The kids-1995
us in 2005
Getting a bit gray there Missy...
sorry a bit cooked on the scan.

And you just saw the one taken recently of us at the Celebration Gala in 2012.
Seems we might need to have another taken in that corner of the shop.

Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
We might just declare it a pajama day here in Whynot.
Forget the Turkey we are thinking of just pie.

Anything good in the movie department that you would recommend?
Cheers!
M

I love seeing how you two and the shop have changed over the years! A movie I just put in my queue is Brave... not in the loop enough to know any others

Aw, so cool to see the photos of you and Mark with all your pottery, and look at the white pots in the background from 1995, hum.

Have a great holiday weekend, hope the Seagrove celebration was a good one for you both and not too tiring. We only see tv movies and very few of those so no recommendations from us.

like I said, you two are ADORABLE!!!
We went to see Lincoln this weekend. VERY good, heavy dialogue and quite a history lesson but it is very well done and Daniel Day Lewis is just brilliant! Yes get another photo in that corner of the shop.
Loading ups today for the CDCG show, no pj's for me :(

What a great pose, with only the pottery changing...mostly, anyway. I pull out the old stack of movies off the shelf for the dull TV nights. Nothing to recommend that you haven't already seen. You can let us know if you go to a theater and see something good!

TB- you and your man are pretty darn adorable!
Linda- pots and we have both changed.
B- I will let you know if we go to a real movie.

You two look great together with your pottery. It's interesting to see the changes and the similarities when we look at the shelves behind you.
I can recommend a few good books.
Enjoy your day.

Death At a Funeral - the original British version - you can stream it - one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while, I howled at parts. It's a weekend at the manor type crossed with monte python. Haven't seen the newer American version of same movie - hmm, that might be my after dinner, feet up, watch of the afternoon. We're also doing pj's, just our favorite parts of the traditional dinner and bad tv marathons or fun movies. Happy Thanksgiving!
