I'm sorry! The world seems so strange and empty when you lose a parent.
I so rarely get the chance to read my favorite blogs and then to tune in today - I'm so sorry to hear this. She must have been a wonderful woman to have raised an artist such as you. Hugs to you.

I'm so sorry to read this, Meredith. Losing a loved one is always hard, not matter the length of the illness. Thinking of you.......xox....*s*
May you and your loved ones have peace as you see the world a bit differently without her walking in it...but holding her in your hearts forever.

I'm so sorry, Meredith. Sending you love and virtual hugs.Being surrounded by love is a huge comfort for both the living and the dying. My own mom has been gone for 3-1/2 years -- I couldn't be there, but knowing she was with those who loved her was and still is a comfort to me. I hope and pray you will be comforted.
So sad to hear the passing of a loved one, especially mom. She'll always be with you.
You have my deepest sympathy. Much love and many hugs to you and your family.
My sympathies, Meredith!
