The control panel for the oven has been mailed away to be refurbished, expect no oven for at least 2 weeks, I will be playing with how to cook without an oven.
It can be done.
The mower is at the shop.
The grass is growing as we speak.

Firing the kiln tomorrow.
Thinking of Boston and the world today, any of the problems I have seems so small.

Your kilns always look so elegant.
I've turned off the news for a while. It's better to think of clay and gardens right now.
Fingers crossed for a good clay cooking session. Cowboy cookies done. PB tomorrow. My face>your house Friday. love you.
we did not listen to the news. I plan to let the police do some investigating.
Leslie!! Thanks! there will be cookies!
time to make a lot of, um, crock pot chili? :)
Did you put some food in the kiln so you'd have a hot meal?
Seriously, it's perfect weather for grilling, you should be fine...you do have a grill, right?
These days I use my toaster oven more than the big oven.
Two weeks will go by quickly!
I do have a grill and think it will be put to use. We don't have a toaster oven it is one of those things that just took up too much room in the old kitchen.
But- money spent on repairs tells me no money for a new item. We can make due. We have plenty of ways to figure this out.
I also, gasp, don't own a crock pot. I could never get the hang of those things and to me all the food tasted the same in them.
The kiln pictures are so cooool too!...so tidy and the thrill of looking forward to the finish..:)..OH!! do invest in a slow cooker..the 'new' recipes are great..we are using ours while waiting for our oven repair.:) Have a great weekend..such fun! Cheers. T.
I'm a slow cooker, but I don't own a crock pot either. It just takes me a while! You can do a lot without an oven.
Ha! I am pretty slow myself these days.
